The Seven Segment Solution

The Seven Segment Solution

Employing these suggestions may help you retire quite early.

Depending upon your decisions, you might retire in 11 to 23 years.

If you ever work again, it is because you want to work; not because you have to work.

  1. When a paycheck arrives, calculate 10 per cent. This is your RTG amount. If you believe in God, return this amount to Him. [If you do not believe in God, donate to help others (yet give only what you are willing to cheerfully give; use any excess to reduce your consumer debt).]

  1. Next, determine twenty per cent of your check. Pay yourself first! This is your Future Financial Freedom Fund. Never, never, never, never, never remove a dime from your FFFF until you retire, then withdraw interest only. [If you are currently in debt, invest around 15% to build your FFFF; the remaining amount pays down your outstanding consumer debt. When free of debt, the entire 20% could be invested to enhance your future.]

  1. The next 40 per cent is for “Must Pays”. MPs include housing, food prepared at home, utilities, life insurance, and paying off all consumer debt. Rapidly become debt free!

  1. Ten percent is for your Major Emergency Fund. Place two month’s expenses in your ME Fund. After this, decrease your consumer debt burden. When free of all consumer debt, use this ten percent for growing your ME Fund toward 6 – 12 months of expenses.

  1. After your ME Fund is complete, begin your MORE Fund. Invest this 10 percent to seize Major Opportunities, to Rescue friends and family, and to pay cash for large Expenses.

  1. The next ten percent is for your Education Fund. Grow your mind.

  1. The last ten percent segment is for FUN! Waste this on candy, on food in restaurants, or on expensive clothing. These expenditures are Frivolous, Unnecessary, and even Narcissistic.
